Good luck! Coming soon for my quilt-alongers will be a post on chain piecing so be on the lookout for that!
Sew long for now! ;)

Romantic date: Me sitting on the couch watching my husband clean the house. Does that count? Actually what would really be romantic would be if we got to go to dinner at the bar we met at. Too bad it's 9 hours away! But it would be a lot of fun to try and re-create that night!
ReplyDeleteJen B stole my answer.... Sooooooo I would like a quiet day at my favorite beach and have him let me eat what ever I want from a menu without price restrictions. Followed by a nap and cuggle time.
ReplyDeleteGoing on a honeymoon. We never got the chance to go on ours. Now I just can't stand the idea of leaving the kids for a long period of time. ;o/

ReplyDeleteHi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower. I found you through a comment you made at The Polkadot Chair about the Hello Kitty Sewing Machine. Once I was on your blog I thought it was so cute I decided to follow!
I wanted to tell you that after reading her post about the machine I decided to get one for my granddaughter for her birthday. I did tons of research, saw amazing reviews, and started looking for the best price. They retail at 199, but I found them at 119 on amazon.com and overstock.com. Then I found one on ebay at 49.99 and put a bid in for 50.99. After looking at the machines some more I have decided to go up to the next level of Hello Kitty machine, slightly more expensive since my granddaughter already has a little sewing experience. So now I am the high bidder on the cute little teal one and am trying to get the word out to anyone who might love this machine at a great price. It is new, unopened, undamaged, still in the box. So cute, I honestly will keep it for myself if nobody else buys it, but I am hoping someone outbids me. The listing is Hello Kitty Janome Sewing Machine Best For Kids. Auction ends in 1 day, so hurry if you are interested. It is so cute! I hope this was helpful to you! Your comment looked as though you would love to have one! Have a great day, and so nice to meet you!

Romantic Date? Just so happens my husband and I were asked this question at a Married Life Live event last year. We wrote our answers down and I have them on the refrigerator.
ReplyDeleteMine went sort of like this - he touches the small of my back as he gently ushers me into a room... Candles are glowing... We gaze into each others eyes and - so on and so forth ;)
HIS was much sweeter and played out like this:
ANYTHING we do together - that we don't HAVE to do -
Isn't that romantic?
He gets big points for that simple lovely easy date.
I like you on facebook too.

My ideal romantic date would be a sensual dinner at home cooked by my hubby, followed by his hand-feeding me chocolate-covered strawberries accompanied by ice-cold champagne. A fire would be roaring in the fireplace, and he'd move the coffee table to make room for a thick quilt on the floor. Then...
ReplyDeleteOh wait, you can't hear THAT!
Hugs,
Pam
