Focusitis

I think I suffer from the inability to focus.  I have a project list a mile long and yet today...I decided I needed to buy the yarn to make a whole batch of Christmas presents.

Yep...I'm not done Halloween costumes.  I'm not done the projects I need before our Disney trip in October.  But, yet...here I am planning Christmas.

Oh well...the other stuff will get done.  But, I after seeing the Honey Cowl Pattern by Madelinetosh I knew I just had to make one for myself and a few other people as well.  :)

Luckily I know my local yarn shop has an entire area of Madelinetosh DK yarn, and so I picked up a color, or two...or five.

What colors did I get?  Why, I'm so glad you asked!  ;)  Top left to right:  Tart; Truly, Madly, Deeply
Bottom Left to Right:  Baltic; Black Currant; and Jade

Now...I'm off to contemplate which of my many projects I should work on instead of cleaning my house.  Afterall, the husband is out of town...so does it really matter if the house is spotless?  HA!

If it makes you feel any better, I have a baby due in 3 weeks and instead of working on the quilt I want to take her newborn photos on - it's still in the FMQ state - I am shopping for a laminate for a high chair cover she probably can't use until she starts to sit up anyway. But I can see why you couldn't resist the yarn.

    At the very least, you probably want to be stocked up with projects to keep you entertained on the plane, and when the husband is gone is always the perfect time for crafting!

  3. Great colors. However, I think the people that name things like yarn or paint, etc. either have the best job in the world or the worst.
